Mission

Supporting the brilliant minds of the future

We believe in people – their ideas, their ambition, and their ability to drive real change. It is individuals who carry the motivation to learn, apply, and develop digital solutions that make a difference. That’s why we focus on supporting those who want to grow and contribute to a more sustainable society. Because in the end, it’s not organizations that move the world forward – it’s people.

Vision

Enabling groundbreaking solutions for our future society

We harness technology with a clear purpose: to drive social, green, and digital transformation that empowers people and strengthens society. Our vision is a sustainable and connected future where innovation supports resilience – enabling individuals, communities, and systems to adapt and thrive, even in times of crisis – by putting people and purpose before technology, and focusing on what truly matters for generations to come.

Mjärdevi – where it all started

Since 1984, the Mjärdevi-area in Linköping, Östergötland, has been a place where talent grows. It started with the establishment of a few research and technology companies, in near proximity to the university. The power, the knowledge and the ambition of these people made the foundation of a community, which in three decades has grown into being a leading international environment for innovation and growth.

Thanks to early adaption, our will to explore new techniques and new ways of working and thanks to all the brilliant minds cooperating over the years – we are proud of being an international inspirer. We, the people of Linköping Science Park, take on future challenges together. We inspire and support each other with the common objective of enabling groundbreaking solutions for modern society.

Visual intelligence and connected technologies – Promoting advanced digital capacity
Östergötland aims to be a leading region in Europe in the digital transition by promoting advanced digital capacity. Visual intelligence and connected technologies will be developed in Östergötland by strengthening the knowledge and capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises, residents, and public actors.

By advancing digital capacity, the interaction between humans and digital technology can be improved – supporting the development of a sustainable and resilient society. This significantly contributes to climate goals and paves the way for new startups, the growth of existing companies, and new business establishments in the region.
