Topic of the day: The automation journey from thousands of parameters to a handful intents!
One key to the success of mobile communications such as 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G is the global market. One product that can be sold and customized to any market in the world, from highly industrialized markets to emerging markets, from highly populated urban locations to rural areas without power grid.
However, this high level of customization resulted in our products having thousands of parameters and a cumbersome process to set them. Now we are on the automation journey to steer, or orchestrate, our systems with few high-level intents instead of many low-level parameters.
