More companies in eastern central Sweden with a turnover of 100 million kronor. That is the target of nine science parks and incubators and in Eskilstuna, Linköping, Norrköping, Strängnäs, Uppsala, Västerås and Örebro, which has been allocated a total of SEK 33 million by the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth. Together, in a regional funded project, it will increase the number of large companies by opening up regional boundaries and sharing knowledge, networks and venture capital.
“Swedish Scaleups” is a collaborative project in which nine business incubators and science parks in Eskilstuna, Linköping, Norrköping, Strängnäs, Uppsala, Västerås and Örebro work together for more companies to grow and reach a turnover of 100 million. The companies that benefit from Swedish Scaleups are given access to all nine parties’ knowledge, skills and networks to speed up their activities. The project includes Create Business Incubator, Inkubera, Linköping Science Park, Munktell Science Park, Norrköping Science Park, Strängnäs Business Park, Uppsala Innovation Center, Vreta Kluster and Västerås Science Park.
