Seminar: Östergötland – Sweden’s Hidden Life Science Gem?
Östergötland is home to a thriving Life Science sector, with around 35 companies driving innovation in fields ranging from research, equipment, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostics to medical technology. Together, these companies generate over 5 billion SEK in revenue and employ more than 2,100 people in the region.
At this event, we will meet well-established companies such as Sectra and Cambio, as well as newcomers like Cordicity, Celluminova, and possibly a few more.
We will also learn about future initiatives driven by close collaboration between Linköping University and Region Östergötland, focusing on areas such as precision health, AI, and data-driven models.
In the final session, we will take a broader perspective on Östergötland’s place in Sweden’s Life Science landscape and discuss initiatives to drive continued growth in the region.
