At SICK Linköping, we develop software for 2D and 3D cameras as well as entire systems for robot control, primarily in factory and logistics automation. Maybe it was our cameras that scanned the luggage tag when you last checked in your bag at an airport, inspected the milk packaging you have in the fridge or sorted out the package waiting to be picked up by you?

We are a great team of 85 people, most of whom are engineers with an interest in image processing. We are very proud of our unpretentious culture, our work to be a healthy and attractive workplace and the fact that by 2021 we were named one of Sweden’s best workplaces according to the survey Great Place to Work.

Our employees are our most important resource. Attracting and retaining the right skills are crucial for our continuous success and ability to attract the sharpest talents. We are therefore looking for a student employee with an HR profile on a part-time basis, approximately one day per week, to above all reinforce the work with employer branding, but also when there is time contribute in social media communication and the usage of digital tools for improvements.

About the job and the skills required

Your primary responsibility will be to plan and carry out various activities, such as fairs, student contacts and events at the office, according to our employer branding strategy. You will act in a project management role where the success will depend on your social and organizational skills to engage your colleagues and lead the work from idea to execution.

When time allows, we also welcome you to contribute to our social media communication, by developing ideas for LinkedIn posts and input for Stories on our career page and use the analytics functions in our digital tools to generate all kinds of improvement suggestions regarding employer branding and recruitment. It’s therefore beneficial if you yourself are active in social media, communicate with ease in a contemporary tone and use digital tools unhindered.

Your profile and availability

As a person, you are creative, organized and brave. You dare to express your ideas, take on tasks without hesitation and conduct your tasks in a structured way. You are not afraid to contact new people and contribute in a positive way to the good atmosphere in our workplace.

If you are active in social media yourself, that’s beneficial, but at least you need to be able to communicate with ease in a contemporary tone and use digital tools unhindered.

You need to be able to spend about 8 hours per week to contribute in this role and we prefer if you have at least one year left in your studies.

What‘s in it for you?

This is a great opportunity for you who want to develop your skills in employer branding and communication to prestart your career in HR. You will be able to sharpen your project management skills, challenge your self-leadership and influence our Employer Branding strategy forward. All this while having a lot of fun along the way! You will work in close collaboration with our HR-Manager also getting an insight in general daily HR-topics.

Does this sound interesting? Welcome with your application no later than 2022-06-05!
