Our Exciting Opportunity

Product Development Unit – Cloud Radio Access Network, PDU – Cloud RAN is a new organization that will be leading the acceleration and creation of a cloud-native Radio Access Network (RAN) product offering with commercial engagements. The new PDU will contain in one organization total life-cycle capability from architecture definition to deployment in customer networks & capability to contribute to open source communities in ONAP(Open Network Automation Platform).
Within the virtual Central Unit (vCU) organization we are now looking for a creative, upbeat and out of the box leader to join our newest product development unit. The leader will have a key role in PDU Cloud RAN, ensuring we as a company succeed in delivering a cloud native RAN offering to our customers.

You will

  • Take a leading position for development of a virtual Central Units (vCU).
  • Work both near-term and long-term with strategies and roadmaps.
  • Drive and implement architectural changes.
  • Be active in the PDU’s work with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and the goal towards faster with Canary Deployment and Micro Services in the center.
  • Ensure E2E flow, way of working, program execution, and maintenance strategies.
  • Work close with Product Line and our Customer Units in customer engagements.

  • Relevant technical knowledge to both lead the domain but also to build trust to drive it in a good direction.
  • Great communication skills, in the customer as well as in the internal dimension where you are accurate and to the point, standing steady and work through issues towards key partners.
  • Ways of doing things differently, but not forgetting the strength of Ericsson. You drive and embrace innovation and change with a collaborative approach.
  • A strong drive towards achievements, delivery timelines.
