We are now looking for analog circuit designers of all competence levels to join our RF data-converter team. The team has the assignment, in collaboration with our colleagues in Linköping, Kista and Lund, to develop data-converters (ADCs and DACs) for Ericsson 5G base station products.

You should be innovating, adapting and responding to change. We also believe you have a general understanding of product development and IC end-to-end development flow.

Ericsson works with the newest technologies both when it comes to radio standards and silicon technology. The projects are organized in teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing come as a natural part of the daily work.

What you will do

  • Your main tasks will be to develop new concepts for data converter architectures
  • In your daily work you will focus on system-level modelling, transistor level design, layout as well as validation and production test development
  • If you are applying for a more senior position you will also be responsible for breaking down system specifications to link budgets for the data converters and the interfacing blocks
  • We also expect our senior developers to mentor our more junior colleagues

You will bring

  • Education: M.Sc. EE. or other relevant degree
  • In-depth and documented experience of data converter development
  • Experience in calibration methods for data converters
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in Cadence EDA tools as well as high level modelling tools such as Matlab
  • Understanding of digital flow and architectures to understand system level decisions and implications
  • Basic semiconductor physics knowledge

Additional meriting experience

  • Experience of leading a smaller development team
  • Design and layout experience from the latest FinFET technologies
  • Experience from Mixed Signal design and Analog/digital co-simulation
  • Experience of the industrialization of RFICs, such as production test and ASIC qualification
