Here in Linköping we have around 40 nationalities represented.
Baseband Infrastructure, BBI, provides middleware and tools to base station application designers. The users develop features for all standards from 2G and forward but with focus right now on 5G. The baseband application runs on EMCA (Ericsson Many Core Architecture) which is our own high-performance hardware. Our mission is to provide both a platform that fully utilizes the powerful EMCA chip and an efficient development environment. We use and contribute to open source as much as possible.
We strive to strengthen our organization with skilled persons with experience in EMCA. Therefore, we are searching for people who want to join us on our journey towards world class development and are eager to build something exciting.

- Develop platform functions for troubleshooting
- Participate in studies of new requirements
- Drive feature development within and sometimes outside the team
- Interact with users in detailing requirements, demos and deployment
- Maintain and improve the platform functions for troubleshooting
To be successful in the role you must have
- (MSc or BSc level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent subject area, or the equivalent level of knowledge.
- Programming skills in C++ and Embedded C on EMCA hardware.
- Proficiency in writing and speaking English
- An ability to plan and drive your own work in order to reach common goals together with your team
- An ability to adapt and respond quickly to change
- An interest and ability to understand and meet user needs
You are at an advantage if you have one or more of the following qualifications;
- Programming skills in Python
- Agile ways of working
- Bazel build system
- Google test or cmocka
- Experience from project management
- Experience from doing software architecture work
